Unnecessary Quotes

April 18, 2009

Emily is sick. She has a double ear infection and is pretty miserable. I took her in last night to get antibiotics. We left home, drove downtown to see the dr, headed across town to get her medicine filled and back home in only an hour.

Color me impressed.

She climbed into bed with us about 12:30 this morning. See once again those Plumb lyrics ring true-I guess my pillow holds some kind of key to your peace.

So there I was sleeping on about 5 inches of mattress space.

I got up twice to check on Madison. She is sick also, but no ear infection for her, just a horrible cough. I redosed (is that a word? Redosed?) her with cough medicine and crawled back into bed.

Sleep evaded me, so I finally got up at 4:30. I had a cute idea for a dress to make Emily. I found the fabric I want to use and I’m going to get started when I can safely make coffee.

You can’t go around just making coffee willy-nilly with sleeping people in the house.

Sounds like a rough night doesn’t it? Sad thing is…it’s the best night so far this week. Sick kids are exhausting to parents!

So here I am checking my email and randomly looking around the internet.

Blog hopping mostly. That is when I found this blog. It’s oddly amusing to me. It may be because I’m sleep deprived. It may be because stuff like this bugs me too. Either way, it made me giggle.
