Three Car Links

June 4, 2009

We have all heard the general rule about staying a certain amount of car lengths away from the car in front of you while driving down the road.  Nobody likes a car too close on their rear.

Jon saw this homemade bumper sticker. He got the best picture that he could of it while also keeping his distance.

Wow, three car links? I’m not sure the distance of a car link.

I looked up Georgia Code and it actually states:

The driver of a motor vehicle shall not follow another vehicle more closely than is reasonable and prudent, having due regard for the speed of such vehicles and the traffic upon and the condition of the highway.

I don’t see a thing about car links.

Makes you wonder how they passed the driver’s test to get their license.

OH that is so funny. I can hear someone with a very thick southern accent saying lengths and it sounding just like this…phonic spelling at it’s best!

ha ha ha! Sounds like they are from the “DEEP” south cause my family is from the south and we only know of sausage links not car links! ;)

Oh that’s funny….. especially in light of the fact that my oldest son just took his written test for his first phase drivers license. Three car “links” doesn’t seem far enough away, when your in the passenger seat and your 14 3/4 yr old son is in command of your suburban!
