Pink eye and MOPS

Just when we have the strep out of the house, pink eye finds it’s way in! It seems like it’s going to be a long winter at this rate! E. picked up pink eye from one of her friends at school. Over half the class was out the other day from various illnesses.

Today at my MOPS meeting it was Spa Day and we had a great time! I got a facial (it was an exfoliation, and I was going to get a massage and my eyebrows waxed, but I gave up my massage spot to another mom and I ran out of time getting my eyebrows waxed. Well, not so much as running out of time as it was I was talking too much and missed my spot! Oh well, I recently plucked them anyway. We had door prizes and I won the big one in the end, a facial at a local spa. Sounds great to me! I did get a bit of good news today though! My friend was moving at the end of the school year…today I found out that they are staying another year! That made me a happy girl!
