KnobStoppers

January 16, 2009

I’m trying to get ready for my surgery next week. I’m getting my tonsils out. I had my preop appointment today. My ENT informed me that I should get ready for the pain-and the bad breath.

Dragon breath. Nice. Apparently, it can clear a room.

Mom and I went to fill my lollipop prescription today. They are lollipops that numb your mouth and throat after surgery. There are only a few pharmacies in town that carry these special little suckers. One of them is a pharmacy/gift shop place. It’s more like a huge shop with a pharmacy tucked into the corner. So this afternoon with an excuse to shop-we headed off to the pharmacy.

I got my lollipops. I also got a nice wrought iron coat hanger thing that I never knew existed, but needed once I saw it.

I also saw KnobStoppers. I thought they were such a cute idea. It’s a vintage doorknob turned into a wine stopper.

Great hostess gift too!
