It’s finally Election Day

This morning after I drop E off at school, I’m going to go vote. It’s quite handy that I vote at the same church where she goes to preschool. There’s no excuse for me not to vote! I hope the line isn’t too long since school starts at 10 and I need to be downtown for M’s ENT appt by 11:20. The lines usually move pretty quickly at our station though, so I’m not too worried. I also saw the sample ballot last night and there isn’t much to vote on this year. The president, a judge slot and 3 amendments to the state constitiution, for the most part. The other spots to be voted for are mostly incumbents running alone.

Like I said, after voting we are headed to M’s ENT appt. This may be her last one! She got her tubes in in May of last year. So she’s had them 18 months. They worked great for her with only 2 ear infections since she got them in. They made a huge difference in her life and I’m so glad we go them put in. I took her in last week to make sure she didn’t have strep like the rest of us. She woke up with a snotty nose and a cough and I don’t normally take my kids to the dr for that. Since K, E and I all had odd symptoms with our strep, I figured we would have her checked out anyway. So in the end, she just had a cold. I’ve never been so glad my child had a cold! When she checked M’s ears, I found out that her left tube is just out and just sitting in her ear canal and the other one was almost finished working its way out. So I’m guessing we are about done with the every 3 month appts at the ENT office!

After the ENT, we will probably go shopping. I need more toys for my Amazon store. It’s pretty bare in there. Then we will be back to pick up E from school hopefully a nap will be next on the schedule!
