What a really neat way to make the hair bow holder special. I'd love to see it when you get the chance to blog it. I can so relate to being behind!

I made this a couple of weeks ago and it is so cute. What a wonderful idea. I did alter it a little because we have lots of elastic baby headbands, as well as some ponytail holders with ribbons already attached. What I did was, on 4 of the ribbons, I attached them to the canvas on top using velcro, so I can disattach them and slip the headbands and ponytail holders on them. Also, to make the piece a little more special, I used several ribbons with some sort of sentimental value. One ribbon is from a spool that I bought to put my girls' crosses on to wear around their necks at their baptism since I was afraid they would break a chain. Another ribbon was from a spool that I bought to use on my older daughter's birth announcement. One ribbon was part of the wrapping of a gift given to my younger daughter from my parents for her first birthday. Another ribbon was from a wedding gift. Two others and the tulle I used to hang the canvas were from baby shower gifts. And two ribbons were actually ribbons I wore as a cheerleader in high school (20 years ago). I plan to blog about this project soon, but I need to write about my girls' birthday parties first (I'm way behind). When I do, I will post here again with a link so you can see a pic. Thanks for this. I love it!!!!

I tried clipping all my bows and clips to it, and then the board fell off! how do you get it to stay on there??? I feel like a blonde asking it maybe cause I am! Please give me some tips on how to hang it! Lots of thankfulness.
