Bossy

It must go with being the first born or something.
Katelyn is so bossy.
She knows she is bossy and likes it that way.
I say to her, “Katelyn, you are not the boss.”
Her reply is, “I want to be the boss.”
Yes, I know.
I’m sitting here listening to her tell her sisters what to do.
I said, “Katelyn, why are you being so bossy?”
She replied, “I’m not. I just want things my way.”
At least she owns it and acknowledges it. Isn’t that the first step to changing a behavior?
Wait…I think there is also something about wanting to change. I do not think she is there yet.

My oldest is the same way…she only has one sis to boss around…so sometimes she tries to boss us as well and we have to remind her who the adults are. LOL!
