Baby Shower Cake

August 6, 2010

My mom threw a baby shower a few weeks ago and asked me to make the cake for the celebration. My mom works one day a week at a quilt store and the woman having the baby isthe daughter of one the owners of the shop. So I thought it would be fun to combine a quilted cake with the train from the shower theme. I thought the cake turned out cute.

As usual, Friday appeared and I am shocked how fast the week passed. This week I enjoyed seeing our girls excited about going back to school. It makes me so happy that they enjoy learning and school is a happy place.

Please share with me what is making your week magical. Link to a post on your blog or leave me a comment.

What made my week magical: playing with my boys at the pool. They LOVE the water.

Cute, cute cake. If I’d tried to make a quilt cake, it would have come out looking like an old paint rag.
