Baby Bumblebee
June 5, 2008
This was one of my daughter’s favorite songs to sing when she was in preschool.
I’m bringing home a baby bumblebee,
Won’t my mommy be so proud of me?
I’m bringing home a baby bumblebee,
Ouch! It stung me!
I’m squishing up the baby bumblebee,
Won’t my mommy be so proud of me?
I’m squishing up a baby bumblebee,
Ooh! It’s yucky!
I’m wiping off the baby bumblebee,
Won’t my mommy be so proud of me?
I’m wiping off the baby bumblebee,
Now my mommy won’t be mad at me!
Hand Motions
First Verse — Cup your hands together like you are carefully carrying the bumblebee inside them.
Second Verse — Rub your palms together like you are squishing the bumblebee between them.
Third Verse — Wipe your hands on your pants or your shirt like you are wiping off something messy.
