About Me

My husband and I have 3 beautiful little girls. They are definitely our pride and joy. This blog was originally created so that I could organize and share fun activities for us to do with the girls. I figured that if we enjoyed the crafts, activities, games, etc., then others would as well. After a couple of months, I was completely bored with the blog. It wasn’t me. It was a chore. So now the blog is totally me and my life.

So here’s a bit about me. I’m officially in my 30’s. I’m married to the love of my life and I’m lucky enough to stay at home with our girls. Right now they are 6, 5 and 3, so they keep me quite busy! I stay busy managing this family and our home. A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and we are all still learning to live with the daily challenges it brings so I may complain about it a bit from time to time. :) So this blog is about me and my life. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Why I named my blog My Magic Mom: One day while waiting on the doctor to come into the exam room, our oldest daughter asked me to use my magic to make him show up. I told her that I didn’t have any magical powers and she argued with me about it, continuing to ask me to use my mommy magic. She then gave me examples of how I know magic…once I made a burrito appear when she was hungry for more, I could magically make play doh out of flour and water and I always knew a new song to sing to her to make her feel better, etc. How was I to argue with such great logic? So now she was asking me to use my magical powers again and make the doctor show up. So I said we would count to 100 and the doctor would be there before we finished. We got to 78 and he appeared! The mommy magic worked again. I then thought about how many times my own mother had magical abilities also. All moms have those magical moments with their children.
